Goat Milk and Raw Honey Charcoal Handmade Face Bar

This Rustic Rose Charcoal Handmade Face Bar is made using raw, local goat milk, raw local honey, and activated charcoal.

Goat milk is great for dry damaged skin with its natural emollients and triglycerides that moisturize the skin. Its rich in fatty acids that allow for gentle cleansing without over stripping. It also contains Lactic Acid which is a naturally occurring AHA (Alpha-hydroxy acid), an exfoliating compound that gently removes the top layer of dead skin cells. It works great even for sensitive skin and can be beneficial for those with acne by helping to keep pores clear of dirt, oil and excess sebum.

Raw Honey is a natural Humectant that attracts and retains moisture in the skin. It is rich in antioxidants that can help protect the skin from damage cause by free radicals. It is anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, and can help to generate new skin cells.

Activated Charcoal works to absorb toxins, oil, and dirt, as well as product buildup that can lead to breakouts. It can help to eliminate bacteria, unclog pores, and aid in the gentle cleansing of the skin. 

This bar is lightly scented with my Rustic Rose essential oil blend, a lovely floral blend.
